Arif’s Journey from Pain to Healing

Muhammad Arif came to Aqidat Home, a project of Elohim Home Trust, with a severely wounded and infected foot. Living with schizophrenia, he found it difficult to cooperate with treatment. His elderly mother had taken him to several hospitals and clinics, but Arif would remove his bandages and wash his wound after medicines were applied, making healing almost impossible.

At Aqidat Home, our medical and rehabilitation team chose patience and compassion. They engaged Arif in activities he enjoyed and provided his treatment in a way that earned his trust and cooperation.

His wound was once deeply infected, with continuous discharge and a strong odor. But through dedicated care, rehabilitation, compassion, and the grace of Almighty God, he slowly began to heal.

After a few months, Arif recovered and safely returned home to his mother.

His story reminds us that healing sometimes requires more than medicine it requires patience, dignity, love, and someone who refuses to give up.
